If anyone has ever told you that writing a book is easy, that person is either the biggest liar in the universe or they know something I don't.

I am writing away, quite pleased with the changes I have made and then I read the whole thing from the beginning and realize that maybe I need to start my story with a new scene that I added to chapter three. Okay, sounds fine right, well I will be cutting about 6000 words of my already dwindling word count and I will have to throw away the first three chapters of my labor of love.

I am going to send my work for a professional edit by someone I met at the Colorado writers conference. I am hoping he will either love my original beginning or think I should start from the place I am thinking of. If he thinks I should start somewhere else I don't know what I will do. This is a little intimidating but I think this is what my writing needs now, a fresh perspective from somebody in the biz.

Enough about writing, I am adding another vacation picture. The campgrounds we stayed at were wonderful and the kids had a wonderful time. I love to share my pictures so I may be adding more vacation pictures here and there.
